Cardiometabolic analysis

Cardiometabolic syndrome is a confluence of metabolic risk factors that can lead to the development of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes mellitus (known as adult diabetes).

Genetic risk factors include disorders of carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, a proinflammatory and prothrombotic state, hypertension, and hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol).

  1. What are these tests?

    They are tests that study our genetic material (DNA) present in oral cells, which detect polymorphisms (genetic variants) in genes associated with the risk of cardiometabolic syndrome, overweight, central control of intake, regulation of thermogenesis and calorie burning, pro-inflammatory processes in adipose tissue and the development of insulin resistance present in type 2 diabetes (adult diabetes).
