This article has been modified to keep updated the measures that must be followed if you travel from Spain to China. The routes most used by travelers are from Barcelona to Shanghai and Madrid to Beijing.
Currently, travel to China is allowed as long as the person meets the visa requirements before entering. If you travel from Spain directly to a city in China, you should only take an RT-PCR test no later than 48 hours before your flight.
If you stop over in a third country, you will need to repeat an RT-PCR test in that country before continuing on to China. The conditions on where to take your test in Spain to travel to China, as well as the quarantine upon arrival, are explained below.

About the Quarantine Period
Passengers, vaccinated or not, have to complete a 10-day quarantine period. 7 days of a centralized quarantine (at a designated hotel) and 3 days a of a home quarantine. The process is overlooked by the Community Staff that chinese government has prepared to conduct all quarantines to run smoothly.
Quarantine and its expenses are covered by each passenger, the total is around CN¥400–600 per day in the hotel. You are not able to choose said hotel, it is designated by the authorities, and every person has to quarantine in a separate room, except for children under 14 who can quarantine with a parent.
Is worth noticing, this policies apply to mainland China, a region excluding Hong Kong, Taiwan, Kinmen, Matsu, and Macau.
