The requirements to travel from Spain to Israel were recently modified, since November 1, the Israeli Government has authorized the visit of people from Spain, as long as they meet all the requirements.
Israel currently – like most countries – sets its entry requirements on vaccination status. However, it not only accepts vaccines validated by the European Union but also Sputnik and Sinopharm.
List of requirements to travel from Spain to Israel
I cannot have been in a country that according to this list is classified as a red zone, Spain is currently in yellow status. This means low risk for cases of coronavirus.
Should any of these requirements be lacking, the Israeli authorities may deny my entry into the country.
Similarly, in case of hospitalization or death from Covid in your territory, the derived expenses are at my expense.
What do I need when I arrive in Israel?
- Vaccination certificate: from any of the following brands Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Sinovac, Sinopharm, and the Serum Institute of India.
- The vaccination schedule must be complete: This means no less than 14 days before the date of entry into the country, and no more than 180 days before the expected date of departure.
- RT-PCR test: I have to do this test a maximum of 72 hours before my departure, it must contain a QR code and all the laboratory information. Also, get a negative result.
- Medical insurance: You must cover hospitalization expenses in case you contract Covid-19.
Spain and the 1-dose rule
Currently, the protocol in Spain establishes that if the person has had Covid in the last 90 days, they only give me one dose of any of the vaccines. In these cases, most countries will require the complete guideline, however, Israel accepts this certificate of recovery if 11 days have passed since my infection and less than 190 days before my trip.
The “Green Pass” to enter Israel
I will have this certificate 24 HOURS BEFORE SHIPPING, it will be necessary to upload all the previous documents. So that through the validation of the application, the system gives me a QR code that I will have to show at the time of my boarding.
