Stress

It is your body’s normal reaction to alert situations. Stress is what helps people overcome certain situations. In small doses it is an ally for health, but if we talk about prolonged or chronic stress, it can cause problems.

 

Types of stress

  • Intense/High Level: These are short episodes of stress, for example when doing activities for the first time. We have all felt it at some point.

 

  • Chronic: It is the state of alert that lasts weeks, months and even years, it is present in people who have major problems in their day to day life, if it is not controlled correctly it produces a gradual loss of the person’s good health.
